Word of Faith Movement

Word of faith movement, you're thinking too small. You call yourself a little god. Let me tell you something though about my BIG God. You think you're just like him? I'm sorry, but you're confused. Can you create the universe? Didn't think so. Can you whisper and everything exsists? No? How about bringing someone back to life from the dead? You think you can do what Jesus did? Please do it. Why do you shut down your churches when a pandemic hits if you are so capable of the miracles of God? That's pretty telling of the truth of your teachings. My BIG God doesn't ask permission. He just does. So what makes you believe you are at all a little god?

You tell me that if you little gods think it and believe it and act on it, you can make it your reality. But my BIG God says in Luke 12:25-26 "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?" Do you understand that you can't? God just told you so right here. You can't add a single day to your own life. Some little god you are. And to my BIG God, this is a very little thing.

How foolish can you be. Why would you want the weight of God's world on your shoulders? Do you know that you don't even the ability to use more then about 10% of your brain. God though has capacities that are infinite and he uses all of it. To my BIG God, you little god are a speck of sand on the shore. You are not even worth mentioning. And for God to have mentioned you shows who He is. His capacity for love and grace is abounding and overflowing. He forgives you, even as you set yourself up to be an idol.

Why do you even need God? If you are a god yourself, if my BIG God created you in such a way that you are able to set yourself up to be a god, why did He even send Jesus this earth? The Bible specifically tells us that "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) Jesus was sent for our salvation. Not to be an example of how to become a little god, but as a sacrifice to set us free from our sin. So if what you say is true, that Jesus was the first of many who can become gods, how do you explain the entirity of the gospels? How do you justify Christ being our salvation for sin? Do you even understand or read the Word? But if the Bible is true, that Jesus came to save us, not to be our example of how to become gods ourselves, then you must realize that you need God to save you. Why would you need a God if you are a god?

So either this is false teaching that is not Biblically sound, or the Bible is not true. Either way, Word of Faith followers can't call themselves followers of Christ. In fact, there are way more similarities between Word of Faith movement and the New Age, New Thought, and even Buddhism then there are between Word of Faith and Christianity. They put on an outer mask of Christianity, but the core is all rotten. True followers of Christ, please be aware and use your discernment. The enemy is prowling looking for who he can devour and he is very sinister.

Matthew 7:15-23

"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and th
