We Believe

No one is beyond God's reach. Where there is no way, He makes the way. "I am the way." God is the only way for us and for the world. For us, this means walking towards God, not towards desires, hopes, or things of the world. For others, we intercede, standing and praying until God comes through and makes the way in their lives too.

God is truth. "I am the truth." He has made us promises to stand in. These promises are found in His word, and when He makes a promise He keeps it. Standing for the truth of His promise means that we will stand against circumstances, against the world and the flesh, and against the enemy in order to see the truth of God's promise come to life.

The only way to life is through Christ Jesus. "I am the life." The way of the world and sin leads to death. Our persistent prayer is that God would reveal himself to us more intimately and that as we learn who He is, we come to understand who we truly are. Our prayer for the world, including our lost loved ones, is that they would receive salvation and life.

We believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
