Thank you Lord

Lord, thank you for this trial. As crazy as it might sound, I am thankful for it. You promised me long ago that this trial would come and that it would be painful, but would lead to so much blessing and joy. I am in the painful part right now, but Lord thank you for giving me these promises, because it helps me to press on. I know that you have me in your hands right now and that you are there in my future too and know where I am going. Thank you for this trial. Thank you for all the blessings that you will pour out from it. You are going to save my husbands soul. You are going to restore our marriage. You are going to build a ministry out of this. And it will all be for your glory! When you do what you have promised, it will be rapid and miraculous. Nothing will be able to explain it away, except your strong hand and power. God you are so good.

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Lord thank you for doing the work now. I spent so long standing in your way. You told me again and again to move out of your way or you would move me. I didn’t listen, but you never gave up. You weren’t satisfied to leave us where we were. You have so much greater plans for us than that old life. I praise you Lord, even in the midst of this storm, because You do everything you said you will do. And this trial is proof of that and proof of the promises to come too. Even in this storm, you show your glory and goodness. Thank you for staying with me and dealing with me and my stubbornness. Thank you for forgiving me and never giving up on me.

Dueteronomy 31:8 “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Where there is no way, you make a way. Where no one else can reach us, you find us.

Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
