In the wake of fears of illnesses, viruses, tornadoes and earthquakes, God is reminding me that I don't belong to this world and this is not my home. This is not your home either. You don't need to choose to let this life be your existence. Christ already paid for me and for you. If you choose him, this life, this silly short little life will just be the prelude to your story. The page that sets up your true story. I am so grateful to have a full life waiting for me when God is done writing this page.
1 John 2:16-17
16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God remains forever.
There is so much fear and hurt and sadness and hatred in this world and in this life. Why would we choose to believe the Devil's lies that this is it. You were not created to fear! You were not created to hate! You were created for love! You were created for worship! Stand up and be who God made you to be. Do what God made you to do. Stop looking at this stupid life like it is all you have! This stupid life isn't even yours, this life is God's! Give it back to him. Tithe this first 10 percent so that he can give you a full blessing, a full life, a true life!
2 Timothy 1:7
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
I don't wonder, I don't have faith. I KNOW. I KNOW the truth. My God is good. My God is Love. My God is Truth. My God loves me, he loves me so deeply. He loves you too. He loves you more than your soul can contain. He loves you so much that you can't help but bursting at the seams and crying and loving. I am so grateful to have a Christ heart. I love even when my flesh wants to hate. I can't help but love, not because I'm told to love, because Christ is in me and he loves so deeply it takes over everything my stupid flesh desires. I want this for you too. Christ wants this for you too. He loves you so deeply and he wants you to accept that love. You are worth loving. Nothing you have done or ever could do would make him love you any less or make you unworthy of this love. You aren't worthy and neither am I. But I am saved, and you can be too! He already paid for you to be saved, just take it! Just accept him! And spend the rest of your days praising him and thanking him and loving him. And you will feel so loved and joyful and also so grieved, so deeply saddened to know that you have brothers and sisters who don't know him. And your heart will spill on them as well. And they will gather around you and want to know what makes you different, and you can share with them the same, that you know the God of creation, the God who loves you and wants you so badly that he already died to rescue you and you can love him too and you can feel this joy too!
John 3:16 and 17
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him
God thank you so much that we don't need to fear. We have nothing to fear. This life is temporary, whether it ends today or 100 years from now, this life is temporary. We don't have to fear the loss of something temporary, because what you have given us is permanent, real, true, eternal life and eternal love. Absolute and pure and unearned love forever. Truly forever and eternal and God I thank you for not giving me a spirit of fear. I do not need to fear what is not real and what is not true and what is not eternal. But you God are eternal and I am so grateful and thankful to know you and to have you with me and to have a purpose for you here on this earth.
