Evidence for God: Intricate Design

Have you ever taken a walk and noticed how complex God’s creation is? The smallest sequence in DNA shows God’s signature. Seashells have intricate design impossible to recreate but occurring naturally. The stars themselves sing God’s glory. Just as a watch has such an intricate design because it was made by a watchmaker, Creation has a design because it was made by a Creator, God. 

God signed his signature into our DNA. There are sulfur bridges in-between all the atoms in your DNA. Every 10 atoms is a bridge, then every 5 is another bridge, then every 6, and then every 5. This repeats over and over in our DNA. In Hebrew, the numbers correspond to letters. 10 is Y, 5 is H, 6 is W, and 5 is H again. This is how the Hebrews spell “Yahweh”, God’s name. You can see in God’s design of our DNA that He literally signed His name. 

Nature itself obeys mathematical patterns. The Fibonacci Sequence is a sequence of numbers where you add the previous two numbers to get the next. Creating squares and overlaying the Fibonacci Sequence creates a spiral. This spiral pattern occurs repeatedly in the universe. You can see it in things like pinecones, hurricanes, shells, and even the Milky Way Galaxy. Why would nature obey math if the universe was created by chance instead of a creator? The logical answer is that a creator designed it. 

Even the stars themselves worship God. Psalm 148 verse 3 says, “Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars. Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies. In a sermon called Stars and Whales singing How Great is Our God, Louie Giglio demonstrates the music that a Pulsar star creates as it rotates on its axis. He used that sound clipped with another star song to play How Great is Our God by Chris Tomlin. The whole of creation is made by God to praise God. 

Creation clearly evidences that it was created by a Creator. The smallest atom of DNA shows God’s signature. Nature follows patterns laid out by mathematical structures. All creation worships God. God’s creation shows complexity and therefore a Creator.
